We stopped outside St. Louis for some frozen custard at Ted Drewes, yet another roadside attraction. Their frozen custard is like a Blizzard from DQ, only creamier and tastier and with no shortage of flavor choices. (We opted to share one with Oreos.)
You know how the DQ employee will hold your Blizzard cup upside down to show you how thick the ice cream is? Well, Ted Drewes claims they invented the whole thing (they call theirs a “concrete”). Brian and I both find it silly.
But who cares. Four thumbs up on the frozen custard! Totally worth the stop.
